How could I write about each one of these parties individually? Both families worked together in coordinating their same day (one day and one evening) parties that included almost all of the same kids and some of the same guests. The crossover worked perfectly and everyone had a great time at both parties. I have to say that both events moved me and I am in awe of how much both sets of parents truly love and adore their children. Rachel's father's speech made me cry (what a shock) and the way Matt's mother absolutely beamed at her son made me cry all over again. I can't say enough about how gorgeous the room at Cedar Hill looked for each party or about the look of delight when the each family saw the room for the first time. Everyone came to party at both events and the dancing went on straight through the day and into the night.
I am really the luckiest person around. Not only do I love what I do, I get to be a part of my client's most happy and meaningful day. It really was such a gift to work with both of these families. I just couldn't adore each of you any more...
